Below is a list of items that the ReStore regularly accepts. Because the ReStore relies on donations from the public, these items are subject to change.
Individuals who are looking to donate to the ReStore are welcome to donate any of the below items. If you don't see an item on the list, or have a donation question, please call our donation hotline at (803) 936-0090.
Appliances must be less than 10 years old
Range Tops, Hoods, Stoves
Ovens & Microwaves
Washers and Dryers
Small Appliances (i.e., toasters, blenders, etc.)
Air Conditioners (windows units and whole house)
Lumber & Plywood (nail free)
Doors and windows
Interior & Exterior Doors
Bay (complete with all sashes)
* All windows must be aluminum clad or vinyl replacement only
Some Flat Screen Tvs (10 years old or newer)
Furniture should not have excessive stains, tears, or pet damage
Books (no encyclopedias, dictionaries or textbooks)
Dishes & Glassware
Light fixtures should be complete and in working order without rust or water damage.
Floor & Table Lamps/Lamp Shades
Track Lighting & Ceiling Fans
Boats, RVs, Vehicles
Hand and Power Tools
Plumbing Supplies (No chips, cracks, rust or water damage)
When you donate to Cars for Homes, you help Central S.C. Habitat build and repair homes for families in the Midlands. If you have an older car, truck, van, trailer, RV or boat taking up space in your yard, consider donating it to support affordable housing in Richland & Lexington Counties. Car donations are made online, or by calling (877) 277-4344. Donations may be eligible for a tax deduction. More information can be found here.
