Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity is deepening and broadening its impact by focusing on Neighborhood Revitalization. In neighborhoods where we are building, we are making needed repairs/upgrades on existing home and changing the neighborhood One Block at a Time.
Our Long Range Plans have identified six neighborhoods across the Midlands for revitalization (see maps below)
Six Neighborhood's Identified for Revitalization: 2018-2028
"More Than a Home" Campaign
Our goal is to build 30 new homes and repair 30 existing homes over the next three years. To reach this goal, we have launched a $9 million-dollar campaign which funds the operating, capital and endowment needs. The campaign has heroic goals and affects everyone in our communities through the stability that homeownership and neighborhood revitalization builds.
The plans have been well received by the community and Midlands leaders. The video and Case for Support below show highlights from our Awareness Event about the campaign.
