What Is the Habitat ReStore?
The Habitat ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center. We sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, and more, all donated by individuals, contractors, and retailers.
Everything is priced well below retail, making it a go-to destination for homeowners, renters, DIYers, contractors, interior designers, and bargain hunters alike.
Open to the public. No membership required. New inventory arrives daily so no two visits are the same.

How to Donate
Drop Off In-Store
Bring smaller items directly to our donation drop-off area at the ReStore. Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 4:30 PM. No appointment needed for small donations.
Schedule a Pickup
Have large furniture or appliances? We use ReSupply for free donation pickups. Schedule online in minutes and our team comes to you.
Get a Tax Receipt
All donations receive a tax-deductible receipt. Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and your donation may reduce your tax burden.
What We Accept
Items must be in good, working condition. We reserve the right to decline items that don't meet our quality standards.

- 03 Measure before you come. Bring room dimensions and a tape measure, we can't hold items.
- 04 Bring help for big items. You're responsible for loading and hauling your purchases.

The ReStore runs on the energy and dedication of our volunteers. Whether you have a morning to spare or want a regular weekly commitment, there's a role for you, no construction experience needed.
ReStore volunteers help sort and price donations, assist shoppers, stock shelves, keep the store organized, and support our team with pickup runs. It's hands-on, meaningful work in a welcoming environment.

Everything you need to know about shopping, donating, and volunteering at the ReStore.
No membership required, the ReStore is open to the public. Anyone can come in and shop during store hours, Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
We don't maintain a full online inventory, our stock changes too quickly. However, we do post featured items and new arrivals on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Follow us there for the best preview of what's in store.
Unfortunately, we are unable to hold unpurchased items. All purchases are first-come, first-served. If you see something you want, we recommend purchasing it the same day. Once purchased in store, large items can be held for seven business days to allow for pick up arrangements.
We do not offer delivery for purchased items at this time. You are responsible for transporting your purchases. We recommend bringing help and an appropriate vehicle for large furniture or appliances. A selection of straps and bungee cords are available for purchase in-store if needed.
Most sales are final. We offer a 30 day warranty on appliances, lighting, fans, and electronics, with original receipt.
Yes. Habitat for Humanity Central South Carolina is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All item donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You'll receive a donation receipt at the time of drop-off or pickup, which you can use for tax purposes.
We use ReSupply for donation pickups. Schedule your free pickup online in just a few minutes, no phone call needed. You can also call us at (803) 936-0088. Pickup is free for qualifying donations within our service area.
