Our Story

Building More Than Homes
Building Community.

Habitat for Humanity Central South Carolina was founded on the belief that everyone regardless of income deserves a safe, stable place to live. For decades, we have partnered with families across Richland, Lexington, and Fairfield Counties to make that belief a reality.

We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, operating locally with deep roots in the communities we serve. Our work is funded by generous donors, powered by dedicated volunteers, and sustained by Homeowner Partners who invest their time and effort alongside us.

Our Mission

"Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope."

This mission drives every nail we drive, every class we teach, and every family we partner with. We believe affordable housing is not a charity it's a hand up that changes the trajectory of entire families for generations.
